WPI, Holy Cross students win WCPA poetry prizes

WORCESTER – Jighjigh Tersoo-Invase of Nigeria, a senior at WPI, won the performance prize in the Worcester County Poetry Association’s annual College Poetry Competition. The competition’s manuscript prize was won by College of the Holy Cross English major Egan Millar, of New York City.

Glass shines at tarp auction

Jason Glass comes down the stretch during the Guy Weadick Chuckwagon Races in High River last year. Glass’s tarp went for $129,500 at the World Professional Chuckwagon Association tarp auction on April 9 in Calgary.

Spikes, 3WZ Sending Lucky Fan to See Cardinals/Pirates in St. Louis

STATE COLLEGE- The State College Spikes and radio partner 95.3 FM 3WZ are teaming up to send one lucky fan and a guest on a three-day, two-night baseball getaway to see the Spikes new major league affiliate, the St. Louis Cardinals, take on the Pittsburgh Pirates in St. Louis, Missouri.
